Gran Turismo 7 announces new cars: Nissan GT-R T-Spec, Lancer Evo VIII, Hiace DX!

The developers of the Gran Turismo 7 simulation game, Polyphony Digital, have announced the release of update 1.52, which is available for download starting today (October 3).

Three new cars that can be driven in the game include the Nissan GT-R Premium Edition T-Spec 2024, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR 2004, and a commercial van, the Toyota Hiace DX 2016.0.

In the real world, the Nissan GT-R T-Spec can be distinguished by exclusive features such as carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, an engine cover, and two iconic colors: Midnight Purple and Millenium Jade.

The addition of the Lancer Evo 8 to the Lancer Evolution CT9A family in Gran Turismo 7 follows the introduction of the Evo IX model earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the new Toyota Hiace added to GT7 is a commercial van version of the original model used for passenger transport, unlike the HiMedic ambulance, which has been modified for emergency use.

Gran Turismo 7 also introduces several new events in the World Circuits menu, such as those in Tokyo Expressway, Circuit de Sainte-Croix, and Kyoto Driving Park.
