Chery Malaysia opens four new outlets in Sabah and Sarawak

Chery Malaysia continues to expand its business with the opening of four new showrooms in Sabah and Sarawak.

In addition to strengthening the presence of the Chery brand, the milestone also highlights Chery’s commitment to providing greater accessibility and enhanced services to its growing customer base in East Malaysia.

With the new openings, Chery now operates four showrooms and two service centres in Sabah, while Sarawak has two showrooms and two service centres in operation along with a body and paint outlet for each state.

As of 2024, Chery has 56 showrooms across Malaysia. The company plans to expand its network to a total of 65 branches this year.

Chery Sandakan

This 1S facility is owned and operated by dealer partner Universal Chery Sdn Bhd. It is located on the Ground Floor, Lot No 1, Taman Wemin, Batu 5, Jalan Labuk, Sandakan, Sabah.

The showroom is open daily – from 8 am to 6 pm (Monday – Friday), from 8 am to 4 pm (Saturday), and from 10 am to 3 pm (Sunday and public holidays).

Chery Tawau

This 3S centre is also owned and operated by Universal Chery Sdn Bhd. Located at TB4005, Taman Berkeley, Batu 1, Jalan Apas, Tawau, Sabah, this facility spans 682 square metres and offers comprehensive amenities, including a showroom, customer service centre, and a service centre equipped with four service bays.

The showroom is open daily – from 8:30 am to 6 pm (Monday – Friday), from 8 am to 4 pm (Saturday), and from 10 am to 3 pm (Sunday and public holidays). The service centre operates from 8 am to 5 pm (Monday – Friday) and from 8 am to 3 pm (Saturday); it is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Chery Miri

The 3S centre, owned and operated by MP Advanced Automotive Sdn Bhd, is located at Lot 8363-8366, Ground Floor, Block 1, Lambir Land District, Jalan Miri By Pass, Miri, Sarawak.

In addition to the showroom and customer service centre, this 892 square metre facility also features a service centre with four service bays managed by trained technicians.

The showroom is open daily – from 8 am to 5 pm (Monday – Saturday) and from 9 am to 3 pm (Sunday and public holidays). The service centre is open from 8 am to 5 pm (Monday – Saturday); it is closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Chery Imago Mall Kota Kinabalu

In an effort to make it more convenient for customers to purchase new vehicles, Chery has opened a showroom at Lot G-74-1, Ground Floor, Imago Mall Kota Kinabalu. Customers can not only view Chery vehicles up close but also take test drives and make bookings at this location.

Stellantis Malaysia opens Desa Park City showroom, Subang service centre

In an effort to provide the best services to customers, Stellantis Malaysia has recently launched a showroom and service center, located in Desa Park City and Subang, respectively.

These new facilities will be part of the dealer network serving the areas of Subang Jaya, Jalan Klang Lama, and Desa Park City.

The Desa Park City showroom, operated by Allure Auto, is situated in a strategic location and offers an engaging experience through exhibitions of Peugeot and Leapmotor vehicles.

It also features a modern lounge complete with a TV and interactive configurations, as well as other amenities such as beverages and coffee for a pleasant customer visit.

The Allure Auto showroom operates daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Meanwhile, the Subang service center spans 5,702 square feet, providing six car service bays and two drop-off areas.

It offers maintenance facilities for high-voltage electric vehicles and advanced technology all under one roof.

Customers can benefit from comprehensive after-sales solutions, including spare parts, service, and warranty support provided by five qualified technicians and service advisors from Stellantis.

A 24/7 helpline is also available to ensure customers receive prompt technical assistance.

Harmony Auto launches first Denza showroom in Kuala Lumpur

Leading dealer group Harmony Auto has now opened the first Denza showroom at Menara Atlan, Kuala Lumpur.

Strategically located in Kuala Lumpur’s golden triangle, the showroom offers easy access for customers to closely examine the newly launched Denza D9 model.

With a floor plan of 5,500 square feet that can accommodate up to six vehicles, this showroom also features a clean, modern minimalist aesthetic with contemporary finishes.

The use of high-quality materials, luxurious lighting, and interactive digital displays is aimed at providing a premium experience for customers.

In addition to the showroom, there are facilities such as a coffee bar and a souvenir merchandise counter.

The Denza showroom is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Harmony Auto is also planning to open a 3S Denza center in Skudai, Johor, in the near future.

Zeekr Space opens in Petaling Jaya, 7X set to debut this year

Last weekend, Sentinel Automotive Sdn Bhd officially opened the first Zeekr Space exhibition center located in Petaling Jaya.

Spanning approximately 660 square meters, Zeekr Space invites customers to explore a vision of cleaner and smarter mobility.

In addition to showcasing the latest models, customers are also encouraged to test-drive existing Zeekr models, including the Zeekr X and the Zeekr 009 minivan.

According to Alex Bao, Managing Director of Zeekr Southeast Asia, “Zeekr is committed to offering high-quality, premium products with advanced technology designed to enhance the driving experience for customers worldwide.”

Since the official launch in December last year, Zeekr Malaysia has distributed approximately 200 units of the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009 models.

In his opening speech, Alex Bao also revealed that the company plans to launch another new model, the Zeekr 7X SUV, in the third quarter of this year.

The Zeekr 7X is a mid-size electric SUV with dimensions similar to the EQE SUV and offers a range of nearly 780 kilometers on a full charge.

Buyers can choose between a single rear-wheel drive (RWD) version with a power output of 421 PS and 440 Nm, or an all-wheel drive (AWD) version featuring two electric motors with a combined power output of 646 PS and 710 Nm.

At this time, Zeekr Malaysia has not yet determined which version will be offered in the local market.

Neta Auto opens doors to first flagship store in Malaysia

Neta Auto and KCM Group recently launched Neta’s first flagship store in Malaysia, located in Ampang.

The state-of-the-art showroom is part of Neta’s mission to make smart electric vehicles more accessible while elevating the entire car-buying experience.

Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s embassy district, the 2,322 square metre showroom features a minimalist aesthetic with glass curtain walls and finishes in tech-inspired grays and Nordic wood tones.

In addition to the vehicle display area featuring the latest Neta models, the new facility also includes a variety of other amenities, such as a merchandise area, a coffee lounge, and dedicated after-sales services.

According to Neta Auto, the opening of the Ampang flagship showroom marks a milestone in its expansion strategy for the Malaysian market.

The company aims to establish 20 dealerships by the end of this year, reaching key areas such as Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, Penang, and East Malaysia.

In addition, Neta is upgrading its existing dealerships to 3S facilities to enhance the customer experience across both sales and service channels.

“Each new location represents a vital step in achieving our goal: to make intelligent mobility accessible to everyone,” said Zhou Jiang, Vice President of Neta Auto.

Coinciding with the showroom launch, Neta Auto also held a ceremony for the delivery of the first 50 units of the Neta X to customers in Malaysia.

Launched last July, the Neta X is available in three variants: 400 Comfort (RM119,888), 400 Luxury (RM127,888), and 500 Luxury (RM135,888).

The 400 variants come with a 52 kWh battery providing a driving range of up to 323 km, while the 500 variant, equipped with a 62 kWh battery, can travel up to 410 km on a full charge.

Customers choosing the Neta X will receive a complimentary Neta Wallbox charger or one year of free charging credit from chargeEV.

Additionally, it also comes with a free service package for two years or 40,000 km. This special promotion is valid until 31 October 2024.

Cycle & Carriage Cheras now houses the Peugeot brand

Cycle & Carriage (C&C) Cheras has now become the first C&C showroom to showcase the Peugeot brand alongside a lineup of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

The inauguration ceremony was officiated by Thomas Tok, CEO of Cycle & Carriage; Linda Jackson, CEO of Peugeot; Daniel Gonzalez as the COO of Stellantis ASEAN, and Jamie Morais, the Managing Director of Stellantis Malaysia.

The exhibition center located on the first floor spans 4,655 square feet where customers can view Peugeot models such as the 408, 2008, 3008, 5008, and the Landtrek pickup truck, as well as a comfortable café space.

It is open daily from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, or from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM every Sunday.

Cycle & Carriage also offers exclusive promotions in conjunction with the opening of this Peugeot showroom, where customers can enjoy savings of up to RM30,000 for the Landtrek model, up to RM40,000 for the 3008 model, and up to RM42,000 for the 5008 model.

Ducati Malaysia opens new dealership in Johor Bahru

Ducati Malaysia has launched its newest dealership in Johor Bahru, marking the brand’s return to the state of Johor after a 10-year absence.

The company says the new dealership represents a significant milestone in Ducati’s commitment to expanding its presence in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia.

Ducati Johor Bahru is strategically located at No.9 Jalan Permas 9/17, Masai Johor, next to Aeon Permas Jaya.

With an investment of RM3.5 million, the 2,418 sq ft facility features a showroom spacious enough to display up 16 Ducati motorcycles at a time, as well as a state-of-the-art service centre.

The service centre, covering 2,135 sq ft, is equipped with four service bays capable of servicing up to 200 bikes per month.

Additionally, the showroom also includes a dedicated space for Ducati apparel and accessories, as well as a separate section for Scrambler Ducati, complete with its own apparel, accessories, and social lounge.

Ducati Malaysia has set an ambitious sales target for the new Johor dealership, aiming to achieve 30 units by the end of 2024 and a forecast of 100 units in 2025.

Currently, there are over 200 Ducati motorcycles on the roads of Johor, and this new dealership is set to become the go-to destination for Ducati enthusiasts in the region.

The dealership is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm, while only the showroom remains open on Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm.

Jaecoo launches first East Malaysian dealership in Kota Kinabalu

Chery officiates new 3S centre in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

Chery Auto Malaysia is proud to introduce a new Chery showroom and service centre in Negeri Sembilan, owned and operated by dealer-partner SS Mobile Sdn Bhd.

Situated at PT 10848, Jalan Desa Cempaka, Taman Desa Cempaka, 71800 Nilai, Negri Sembilan the new 3S centre spans 310 square meters, offering customers a comprehensive experience in vehicle viewing, customer service, and maintenance.

EON opens smart‘s first 3S centre in Glenmarie

EDARAN Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON) is embarking on a new chapter with the official opening of its first 3S smart dealer in Glenmarie today. This also signifies EON’s presence in the electric vehicle (EV) market.

With a spacious 4,362 square feet area, the showroom can accommodate three cars in the main display area and one unit for delivery space. Additionally, for the comfort of visitors and customers, it is equipped with a dedicated waiting area complete with a café, discussion space, children’s playroom, and complimentary WiFi.

For post-sales services, the 3,716 square feet service area includes four service bays, two of which are dedicated to servicing and maintenance, one for tire alignment, and one for high-voltage service. There are also eight customer parking spaces, two 22kW AC chargers, and one 60kW DC charger.
