2025 Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 launched in Malaysia, RM28,700

Royal Enfield Malaysia has officially launched the all-new Guerilla 450 roadster.

This motorcycle shares its fundamental architecture with the Himalayan 450 touring model but features distinct configurations.

For instance, it is equipped with 43 mm telescopic front forks (with 140 mm of wheel travel) and a rear mono-shock (offering 150 mm of wheel travel).

This setup results in a lower seat height for the Guerilla 450, at approximately 780 mm, compared to the Himalayan 450’s 825 mm.

Furthermore, the Guerilla 450 features a unique body panel design, including an 11-liter fuel tank, and handlebar setup, complemented by 17-inch rims wrapped in 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tires.

The braking system consists of a 310 mm single rotor with a two-piston caliper at the front, and a 270 mm single rotor at the rear, supported by a dual-channel ABS system.

In terms of power, the Guerilla 450 retains the Sherpa 452 cc DOHC liquid-cooled engine, producing 40 PS (approximately 39.4 horsepower) at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.

Two riding modes are available: Eco and Performance.

Additional features include a round Tripper Dash TFT display screen that connects to smart devices and supports mapping navigation.

In Malaysia, the Royal Enfield Guerilla 450 is priced starting from RM28,700.

Cyclone RE600, 58 hp/55 Nm, modern retro image, priced at RM25,888

MForce Bike Holdings is set to launch a modern retro scrambler, the RE600, complementing the models mentioned in the previous article (RT3E, RX650 & RA600).

Like the RA600 model, the RE600 also gets a 550.4 cc parallel-twin engine producing 58 hp at 8,500 rpm and 55 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

This motorcycle is capable of reaching a top speed of 170 km/h.

The RE600’s suspension system consists of upside-down (USD) front forks followed by a single shock absorber at the rear.

Stopping power is provided by twin brake rotors at the front and a single brake rotor at the rear, assisted by ABS and traction control system (TCS).

The retro image of this motorcycle is contributed by a round LED front lighting unit, slim LED rear light, LED turn signals, and a small windscreen.

All important information can be read via the full-color TFT display screen.

Other features include 17-inch rims, a 20-liter fuel tank, and a seat height of 800 mm.

The selling price of the Cyclone RE600 is around RM25,888 when it is launched in the middle of the year.

Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark, Full Throttle get nip and tuck for 2025

At the Ducati World Premiere 2025, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer showcased two updated Scrambler models: the Scrambler Icon Dark and Scrambler Full Throttle.

The Scrambler Icon Dark features an aggressive all-black appearance, highlighted by a matte black tank and a modern version of the Scrambler logo. Its side panels and rear fairing contribute to a lighter look.

In contrast, the Scrambler Full Throttle draws inspiration from 1970s flat track motorcycles. This is evident in its black and bronze livery, along with side panels adorned with the number 62, commemorating the year the Scrambler was first introduced—1962.

Additionally, the design is emphasized with lower handlebars, a short front mudguard, a Termignoni silencer, and Ducati Performance LED indicators. Also included is an up/down Quickshifter.

As before, the Scrambler is powered by an air-cooled 803cc twin-cylinder engine, producing 73 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 65.2 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed transmission.

The suspension system consists of KYB inverted forks at the front and a monoshock rear shock absorber with preload adjustment. The bike features 18-inch wheels at the front and 17-inch wheels at the rear.

Other retained features include a 4.3-inch TFT screen, Ride-by-Wire throttle, Riding Modes, and Cornering ABS.

According to Ducati, the Scrambler Icon Dark will be available in the market starting this month, followed by the Full Throttle in December.
