Royal Enfield organizes One Ride convoy across the world, 523 riders from Malaysia participated!

On the 22nd of September, the Royal Enfield motorcycle community organized a large-scale ‘One Ride’ convoy globally to celebrate the spirit of “Pure Motorcycling”.

Introduced since 2011, this event has been globally embraced in 43 countries, gathering enthusiasts of all ages and social identities while showcasing their unique personalities.

This year’s One Ride event carries the theme ‘Be Bold, Be Seen, Be One’, encouraging participants to practice safe riding, responsible travel, and to be a symbol of self-expression.


A total of over 41,730 motorcycle riders participated from 66 countries globally, with more than 6,200 entries coming from the Asia Pacific region.

The response in Malaysia was also remarkable, with 523 Royal Enfield motorcycle riders taking part in the One Ride event.

In addition to Malaysia, One Ride was also celebrated in several countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dubai, the Philippines, Ecuador, Indonesia, Italy, Germany, Japan, Cambodia, Korea, Mexico, France, Peru, Spain, Thailand, and Uruguay.

2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan officially launched, starting from RM30,600

The Didi Group, as the sole importer and distributor of the Royal Enfield motorcycle brand in Malaysia, has recently launched the Himalayan model at the Art Of Speed 2024 event.

It is powered by a liquid-cooled Sherpa 452cc engine capable of producing 40 PS @ 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 40 Nm @ 5,500 rpm.

With a generous ground clearance (230 mm), the Royal Enfield Himalayan also features long-travel suspension, including a 43mm inverted front fork by Showa and a rear mono-shock absorber, to easily handle various terrains.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan maintains a combination of 21-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminum alloy rims, with a wider 140/80 rear tire for greater grip.

The 17-liter fuel tank has been redesigned to provide comfort to the rider, along with adjustable saddle height starting from 805 mm and can be raised to 845 mm depending on the rider’s height.

All essential information can be accessed via the round TripperDash display screen, which also offers mapping navigation using the Google Maps Platform and audio guidance in over 130 languages.

Riders can choose to set their riding mode to Performance or Eco through the ride-by-wire throttle control, and can deactivate the rear wheel ABS for a more enjoyable off-road riding experience.

Royal Enfield Malaysia also offers over 30 genuine accessories for the Himalayan, including aluminum storage boxes, taller windshields, LED fog lights, mudguards, rally seats, soft bags, and much more.

Three variants are offered, namely Base (Kaza Brown), Pass (Slate Himalayan Salt or Slate Poppy Blue), and Summit (Hanle Black or Kamet White), with prices ranging from RM30,600 to RM32,200.

 

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 introduced in Malaysia, from RM23,500

DIDI Group introduced the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 for the Malaysian market. The iconic motorcycle, with a long-standing name in the history of the global motorcycling, has received approximately 10 percent entirely new components.

It is powered by a 349cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which also serves as the heart of the Meteor, Classic, and Hunter.

The Bullet 350 engine generates 20.2hp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. This engine is also equipped with a balancer shaft to reduce vibrations. The transmission is a 5-speed gearbox.

The 2024 Bullet 350 comes with a reinforced chassis for better handling and durability. The front fork is now 41mm in size, while the rear tire is wider.

The motorcycle uses a 100/90R19 tire at the front and a 120/80/R18 at the rear. The braking system consists of a 300mm disc at the front, while at the rear, you can choose between a disc or drum.

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 also features a new seat, redesigned mudguard, 13-liter fuel tank, ‘tiger eyes’ headlight, LCD display, and a USB charging socket.

The Bullet 350 is offered with a Special Edition package, which includes two options: the Special Edition priced at RM23,500 and the Gold Edition priced at RM23,900.

The Special Edition comes in black or maroon, while the Gold Edition has a black tank with special matte and gloss finishes, complete with a 3D gold badge.

In the same event, Didi Group also introduced two new colors for the Super Meteor 650, namely Interstellar Grey and Astral Green. This vehicle is available at a price of RM37,900.
