This Toyota GR Supra final edition features more upgrades than Malaysian spec Supra

First revealed in November last year, Toyota Gazoo Racing has officially announced the sales of the GR Supra A90 Final Edition for the Japanese market.

Only 300 units of this Final Edition model will be produced, with 150 units allocated for the Land of the Rising Sun, and the remaining units will be sold in the European market.

What makes the GR Supra A90 Final Edition particularly special is the standard features it offers directly from the factory, compared to the regular GR Supra model.

In terms of performance, the GR Supra A90 Final Edition is equipped with a B58 engine that has been upgraded to deliver 441 PS and 571 Nm of torque, compared to the standard 387 PS and 500 Nm.

Toyota has also optimized the intake and cooling systems, culminating in a titanium Akrapovic exhaust unit.

Moreover, the chassis of the GR Supra has been reinforced with the addition of brace structures in several locations, followed by front and rear stabilizer bars crafted from reinforced aluminum.

KW adjustable suspension is utilized at all four corners, with the camber angle adjusted for both the front and rear wheels.

Contributing to improved handling are the active differential control and an optimized electronic steering system.

The 19-inch front and 20-inch rear aluminum rims are fitted with wider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, which are 10 mm wider than the standard settings.

The exterior appearance of the GR Supra A90 Final Edition is enhanced by carbon fiber components like the front spoiler and canards, along with a “ducktail” rear wing.

Inside the cabin, there are full Recaro Podium CF bucket seats, red seatbelts, and extensive carbon fiber and Alcantara trim that dominate the interior space.

With the improvements offered in this model, it’s no surprise that Toyota has set a sales price of approximately 15,000,000 yen (RM 443,000), which is higher than that of the GR Supra RZ grade.

Interested parties can register at all GR Garage locations across Japan starting April 13; however, buyers will be selected via a lottery system. Winners (a.k.a the rightful owners) will be announced on May 9.

Honda Super Cub 50 Final Edition: Farewell to an iconic affordable motorcycle!

Honda has officially announced the discontinuation of the Super Cub 50 cc model due to the implementation of stricter emission regulations.

To celebrate this milestone, Honda has launched the Super Cub 50 Final Edition, featuring classic colors of white and Bonnie Blue inspired by the original Super Cub.

The Super Cub 50 Final Edition also boasts a two-tone solo seat, a special “Honda 50 Final Edition” emblem, a classic instrument cluster, a rear rack, and a uniquely designed key.

For the Japanese market, the Super Cub 50 comes equipped with a 49 cc engine producing 3.6 hp and 3.8 Nm of torque.

Production of this Final Edition will be limited to just 2,000 units, each priced at ¥270,000 (approximately RM7,743).

In Japan, 50 cc motorcycles have been a key pillar of the transportation system during the post-war economic boom. Due to their affordability and fuel efficiency, they have also remained a popular choice among workers and students.

In addition to stricter emission laws, the rising popularity of e-bikes and electric scooters has contributed to a decline in sales of these small-displacement motorcycles.

BMW Malaysia launches 218i Gran Coupe, X3 Final Edition

BMW Malaysia today introduced the Final Edition model for three of its locally assembled models, namely the 218i Gran Coupe, X3 sDrive20i, and X3 xDrive30e.

All three models retain the powertrain and M Sport package but gain sportier looks, alongside a more comprehensive equipment list.

For the 218i Gran Coupe Final Edition, the sedan’s appearance is now accentuated by the addition of Shadowline with Extended Contents and 18-inch M light alloy wheels Y-spoke 553 M Bicolour.

Furthermore, the cabin now features telephony with wireless charging and a 10-speaker HiFi loudspeaker system with 205W amplifier output.

Meanwhile, both the X3 sDrive20i Final Edition and the X3 xDrive30e Final Edition now come with M Lights Shadowline and M high-gloss Shadowline with extended contents. contents. Exclusive for the latter is the M Sport brake in red high-gloss.

Moving onto driving assistance systems, the two Sports Activity Vehicles (SAV) are now equipped with Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go Function on top of their existing Driving Assistant.

The X3 xDrive30e Final Edition also gets the head-up display, as well as the Parking Assistant Plus, which gives it a 360-degree surround view camera and Remote View 3D.

For their Final Editions, both models now feature telephony with wireless charging.

In terms of colour availability, the 218i Gran Coupe Final Edition is available in exterior colours Skyscraper Grey, Black Sapphire and Alpine White, while the interior upholstery is available in Leather Dakota in Black with Blue highlights.

The X3 sDrive20i Final Edition and X3 xDrive30e Final Edition can be had in exterior colours Carbon Black, Alpine White and M Brooklyn Grey.

As for the interior upholstery options, the former is available in Leather Vernasca in Mocha with Décor stitching and Leather Vernasca in Black with Décor Stitching, while the latter is available in Leather Vernasca in Mocha with Décor stitching and Leather Vernasca in Black with Blue stitching.

The selling price of the 218i Gran Coupe Final Edition starts from RM223,800. Customers who opt for the Service & Repair Inclusive package will have to fork out an additional RM20,600.

Meanwhile, the X3 sDrive20i Final Edition and X3 xDrive30e Final Edition are each sold at RM311,800 and RM357,800, respectively. The Service & Repair Inclusive package for both variants is available for RM26,700.
