Art of Speed 2024 returns to MAEPS Serdang, 27-28th July

Art of Speed Malaysia (AOSM) has announced the hosting of the 13th edition of the annual Art of Speed event, which will be held at MAEPS, Serdang on July 27-28.

The organization of Art of Speed 2024 will carry the theme “Stop the Violence”, where AOS will collaborate with Selangor FC (SFC) to spread the message of “love without hate, unity without boundaries” within the local automotive arena.

Unlike previous events, this exceptional Kustom & Counter Culture event will now encompass an enclosed space of 452,084 square feet, as well as an expanded outdoor area of 8.6 acres, offering a wider array of activities to satisfy enthusiasts and visitors.

 

 

These include the Outdoor ThunderCircus “Brotherhood Rally” specifically tailored for motorcycle enthusiasts, the NEAT Fest car modification exhibition, the Off The Grid lifestyle exhibition, Show & Shine, a street fashion exhibition, as well as the Kustom & Koffee Talk forum.

Moreover, AOS 2024 will provide additional activities such as the Roda Rumble 2024 by Retro Mania, a performance by La Cultura, the buying and selling activities for motorcycles under 500 cc Moto4sale, a vintage automobile bazaar, a food truck area, and a motorcycle test ride zone featuring Royal Enfield, Vespa, Aprilia, Lambretta, Harley-Davidson, and others.

 

 

The AOS Invitational Build-Off event is also making a comeback this year, with 10 special builders showcasing their work and having the opportunity to send their custom motorcycles to the 32nd Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2024 in Japan.

Those involved include Abah & Sons (Padin Musa), Nodie Cycles, Acid Welding, Zuhalfast, RGF, Flying Loser, Chaos Customs, FNG Works, and Son of Abdul.

 

 

For fans of three-inch cars, the Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia event will make a return this year after receiving warm reception last year. Visitors can enjoy more Hot Wheels activities, including the display of Rare & Collectibles Hot Wheels, the Hot Wheels Skate School, Swap Buy and Sell, custom competitions, and a special dinner at Hotel Concorde, Kuala Lumpur.

During the dinner event, AOS 2024 will launch the first exclusive die-cast model for Malaysia’s convention to be attended by the Hot Wheels Vehicle Designer Manager, Dwayne Vance.

 

 

AOS 2024 has also announced the list of invited guests from the custom community in Japan, such as Shige Suganuma, Shinotsuka “NATQQ” Michihisa & Hey Murakami from MOONEYES, Katie’s Custom, STOOP Motorcycles, and EVILACT, who is an expert in customizing Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Additionally, Nigel Petrie from Engineered to Slide Australia, well-known for designing the Toyota Hilux space frame drift vehicle, will also make an appearance, along with several prominent figures from neighboring countries, Thailand and Indonesia.

AOS 2024 will witness the appearance of two renowned drift stars, Daigo Saito, also famous for his Fat Five Racing shop, and The Prince of Drift Malaysia, Tengku Djan Ley bin Tengku Mahaleel.

Not to be missed, the SoundCircus concert event that will take over Hall A with a lineup of famous artists such as Spider, Gerhana Ska Cinta, Salam Musik, Jemson X Forcesparkbois, Slatan, 53 Universe, and many more.

 

 

AOS 2024 has also announced collaborations with four brands this year, namely Zippo, Von Dutch, Selangor FC, and MOONEYES, offering various attractive items such as t-shirts, caps, lanyards, and many more exclusive items for visitors to grab.

The lucky draw prize this year is a collaboration between AOS and QARTEL TV, where the lucky ticket holder will take home a modified Honda car.

Tickets for the AOS 2024 weekend pass can be purchased for as low as RM35.00, while children under 12 and the disabled will not be charged any fee.

Visitors can also obtain VIP valet parking tickets for RM30.00, allowing them to park their cars on the lower level of Hall D for a full day.
