Jaecoo Malaysia opens new 3S centre in PJ Midtown to meet growing customer demand

In tandem with a growing customer base, Jaecoo Malaysia continues to invest in the expansion of its dealer network across the country.

Most recently, the company has launched a new 3S centre (sales, service, and spare parts) located in Section 13, Petaling Jaya, more commonly known as PJ Midtown.

Operated by Evenergy Auto Sdn Bhd, the 6,000 square foot facility has the capacity to cater to the Petaling Jaya, Bandar Utama, Damansara, Mont Kiara, Hartamas, Bangsar and TTDI townships, all within a 5 km radius or 15 minute drive.

The showroom features the latest Jaecoo models, such as the J7 and C9, and provides various amenities for customer comfort, including a lounge area with high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary beverages, and free valet parking.

Meanwhile, the satellite service centre is located in Sea Park, a mere a 10-minute drive from the showroom. It is equipped with five service bays and a spare parts warehouse where genuine Jaecoo parts are stored.

Sime Motors strengthens BYD aftersales support, now with 21 service centres nationwide

Sime Motors is continuously expanding the BYD brand network in the country as part of its efforts to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles (EVs).

According to the company, BYD currently operates 21 service centres nationwide, focusing on customer accessibility spanning key regions such as Penang, Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, East Coast, Sarawak and Sabah.

17 out of the 21 BYD service centres in Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia feature body and paint (B&P) centres that offer body repair services using state-of-the-art equipment. Trained technicians ensure every repair meets original manufacturer standards.

Customers’ vehicles are serviced by a team of BYD certified high-voltage (HV) technicians, who undergo ongoing multi-level training programmes to ensure 100% certification.

In addition to specialised tools for EV maintenance, all BYD service centres provide premium lounge areas and workspaces for customers to relax or work while waiting for their vehicles to be serviced.

BYD also operates a digitally managed centralised Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) that ensures timely and sufficient parts delivery to service centres and dealers nationwide. With optimised inventory and streamlined distribution systems, BYD guarantees minimal downtime for vehicle repairs.

Moreover, every new vehicle undergoes rigorous quality assurance checks at the pre-delivery inspection (PDI) centre to ensure it is in top condition before being handed over to the customer.

The PDI facility is equipped with a three-level mechanical parking system, optimising space efficiency while securely accommodating vehicles during the inspection and preparation process.

Each BYD vehicle comes with a six-year/150,000 km warranty for the vehicle, an eight-year/160,000 km warranty for the battery (with the battery to be replaced if its health falls below 70%), and an eight-year/150,000 km warranty for the drive unit.

Additionally, BYD offers service packages available in three-, six- and eight-year options, along with Standard and Plus options, to accommodate both customer’s high and low usage patterns. These packages can be purchased separately or bundled with car loans for added convenience.

Chery Malaysia expands network with new 3S centre in Kluang

Chery Malaysia has announced the opening of a new showroom and service centre in Johor, owned and operated by dealer-partner Li Koon Auto Sdn. Bhd.

Located at No. 5 & No. 6, Jalan Kluang Perdana 1, Taman Kluang Perdana, 86000 Kluang, Johor, the new 3S centre covers 896 square meters and provides various services for Chery owners in the vicinity.

These include a fully equipped service centre with four service bays, all staffed by highly trained Chery technicians.

Chery Kluang is staffed by a team of highly trained professionals, ensuring that every customer’s needs are met with the highest standards of quality and care.

“Our mission is to offer high-quality vehicles and ensure that every customer receives the best possible care and support throughout their ownership journey,” said Network Director of Chery Malaysia Soon Boon Ping.

The showroom is open daily – from 9am to 6pm (Monday – Sunday) including Public Holidays. While the service centre is open from 8am to 5.15pm (Monday – Friday); 8am to 12.45pm (Saturday); closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Currently, Chery operates six showrooms and five service centres in Johor, along with two body and paint outlets, to comprehensively meet the needs of Chery customers in the state.

Sisma Auto Hub Sungai Besi opens its doors as premium multi-brand 3S centre

Sisma Auto recently launched the new Sisma Auto Hub Sungai Besi, a premium multi-brand 3S centre for customers to buy, sell or service any brand of luxury car.

The Sungai Besi outlet is the second Sisma Auto Hub following the opening of the Glenmarie branch in February 2022.
