Trend of Simplified Logos in the Automotive Industry

02 Aug 2024 Hanif Su'ib 6 Comments

If you’ve noticed, in recent years, there has been a trend among automotive manufacturers where they are racing to display more concise and minimalist logos.

This is contrary to what has been practiced for decades, where most manufacturers showcase textured logos, three-dimensional appearances, glossy finishes, and various other approaches that have been widely used.

Leading brands such as Hyundai, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, and the newest entrants Honda and Mazda have changed their logos to be more streamlined.

Furthermore, this minimalist trend is also being followed by more luxurious brands like Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, and Rolls-Royce.

Here we list some automotive brands with more concise corporate logo presentations:

Audi

BMW

Citroen

General Motors

Honda

Jaguar Land Rover

Kia

Mazda
