2024 Maserati Grecale now open for booking in Malaysia, two trims, from RM635k

The latest 2024 MASERATI Grecale is now open for booking in the Malaysian market. Those interested can choose between two variants, namely the GT starting from RM634,889 or the Trofeo starting from RM1,100,000.

Grecale GT

The Grecale GT is still equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine with a mild hybrid BSG system. This package delivers a total output of 300hp at 5,750rpm and 450Nm from 2,000 to 4,000rpm.

This output is transmitted to all wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox and an AWD system with the option of a rear limited-slip differential (LSD).

The acceleration performance is 5.6 seconds for 0 to 100km/h, while 0-200 can be achieved in 23.7 seconds. The maximum speed is 240km/h. The Grecale GT is also equipped with double-wishbone suspension at the front and multilink at the rear.

There are options for active and adaptive shock absorbers as well as air suspension. The brakes are 350mm at the front and 330mm at the rear, with 20-inch rims.

Grecale Trofeo

Meanwhile, the Grecale Trofeo is a more powerful variant, with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, generating 530hp at 6,500rpm and 620Nm from 3,000 to 5,500rpm.

The transmission is the same, with an all-wheel-drive system and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. However, the Grecale Trofeo comes with standard electronic rear LSD.

The higher output allows the Grecale Trofeo to accelerate to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds, and to 200km/h in 13.8 seconds. The maximum speed is also higher, at 285km/h. Air suspension comes standard for the Trofeo.

The brakes for the Grecale Trofeo are 360mm at the front and 350mm at the rear, with 21-inch rims. Other standard features of the Maserati Grecale 2024 include the Vehicle Dynamic Control Module (VDCM) with four modes: Comfort, GT, Sport, and Off-Road.

The 2024 Grecale also comes with a 12.3-inch display for the driver’s instruments and another 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The third screen is 8.8 inches for additional controls.

The audio system is still Sonus Fiber, as before, with 21 speakers, in addition to Saffionao leather trim on the dashboard and door panels. All Maserati Grecale models in Malaysia also come with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty, which can be extended to ten years.

Maserati GranCabrio Folgore is a stylish EV droptop with 818hp and 447km range

The newly launched electric-powered GranCabrio Folgore by Maserati serves as an alternative and complement to the existing GranTurismo Folgore range.

Essentially, the GranCabrio Folgore model is a convertible with a foldable roof. However, overall, it shares many components with the GranTurismo Folgore model, including the electric powertrain unit.

It features a configuration of three radial-flux electric motors, consisting of two units at the rear axle and one unit at the front axle, each capable of producing a peak power of 300 kW (402 hp).

Due to battery technology limitations, Maserati claims that this convertible model can achieve a peak power of up to 818 hp/1,350 Nm in MaxBoost mode or up to 751 hp in standard driving mode.

The GranCabrio can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 290 km/h. The GranCabrio Folgore is equipped with a T-shaped lithium-ion battery pack positioned on the floor, with a capacity of 92.5 kWh (83 kWh limit).

For a full charge, this model can travel between 419 km and 447 km, aided by a regenerative braking system capable of generating power up to 400 kW. The fast DC 270 kW charging allows you to add 100 km of range in five minutes or charge from 20 to 80 percent in 18 minutes.

As standard, the GranCabrio Folgore offers up to four driving modes: GT default mode, Sport mode, extreme driving mode Corsa, and high-efficiency mode Max Range.

For those who enjoy the wind in their hair, the GranCabrio Folgore’s roof can be folded in 14 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Reflecting its nature as a luxury car, owners can choose from up to five attractive colors: Nero, Blue Marine, Titan Grey, Greige, and Granata.

The GranCabrio Folgore’s cabin features characteristics such as a 12.2-inch digital cluster screen, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and an 8.8-inch third screen for HVAC control.

Additionally, it includes a steering wheel with heating function, brushed aluminum paddle shifters, and other standard features such as neck warmers, Sonus Faber audio system, and a digital clock that can be switched to display a compass, G-force meter, and chronograph. Buyers can also opt for sustainable material packages such as Econyl, made from recycled carpets and fishing nets.

NAZA Italia unveiled the latest legendary product from Maserati today, the all-new GranTurismo. This grand tourer sports machine is offered in two variants – GranTurismo Trofeo and GranTurismo Modena.

The Maserati GranTurismo is constructed using a composite of aluminum, magnesium, and high-performance iron. It maintains a classic appearance with a long front bonnet and a mid-cabin flanked by four tire fenders. The roof slopes dynamically, showcasing the Trident logo.

This new iteration of the Maserati GranTurismo is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 Nettuno twin-turbo engine paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. However, the output and performance differ for both versions.

The GranTurismo Modena produces 490hp at 6,500rpm and 600Nm at 3,000rpm, accelerating from 0 to 100 in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 302km/h.

Meanwhile, the GranTurismo Trofeo boasts higher performance. Its engine is tuned to yield 550hp at 6,500rpm and 650Nm at 3,000rpm. This allows it to accelerate to 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 320km/h.

The car’s suspension features double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. The brakes are Brembo 6-pot in the front and Brembo 4-pot in the rear.

Sound design is a key identity feature for Maserati. Hence, this model has been specially tuned by engineers at the Maserati Innovation Lab.

Inside the cabin, the 2024 GranTurismo comes equipped with the Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) system, a digital clock, head-up display, and Sonus faber premium audio system.
